PaintSmith Company was founded in 1973 by Robert Smith in Yakima, Washington. The mission statement from day one was "Go the extra mile." Today, the employees at PaintSmith still strive to exceed expectation, with a commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and providing beautiful finishes for our customers in the Pacific Northwest. By providing dependable service, and building lasting relationships, PaintSmith has grown over the years. The team now includes not only experienced painters, wallcovering installers and specialty coating applicators, but estimators, project managers and safety officers to facilitate large projects. Working with his father at PaintSmith for over 20 years, Justin Smith, has been joined by Brad Durham to provide estimates and customer service. PaintSmith is a professional painting company pledged to safe work practices, ecological responsibility and community involvement.
PaintSmith is trusted by businesses, manufacturers, homeowners and general contractors to provide services across Washington state. As a professional painting company, we are contracted to work on hotels, casinos, apartment buildings, office buildings, banks, churches, retail spaces, malls, large department stores, warehouses and factories. Our work for the city, county and state includes schools, fire stations, offices, maintenance facilities, colleges and universities. We paint houses, assisted living complexes, custom homes, spec houses and multi-million dollar mansions. PaintSmith has successfully handled multiple painting contracts for the Muckleshoot Indian Casino in Auburn, Washington; Legends Casino in Toppenish, Washington; and the Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel in Worley, Idaho. Past projects within the hospitality sector include painting and applying wallcovering for new hotel construction such as the Hyatt Place Hotel in Portland, OR, the Regency Inn in Portland, OR, the Staybridge Hotel in Muckleteo, WA, the Hampton Inn in Spokane, WA, and many, many more. We have worked on over a dozen schools, including the schools of the Muckleshoot Tribe in Auburn, and public schools in Grandview (3), Mabton, Selah, Yakima (3) and Tieton. Our company can be trusted to perform and therefore we have many repeat customers.
